According to statistics from the Statistical Office of the European Union, the bilateral imports and exports of goods between Germany and China amounted to 52.31 billion US dollars in January-April 2018. Among them, Germany exported 26.74 billion US dollars to China, accounting for 6.0% of Germany's total exports; Germany imported 25.57 billion US dollars from China, an increase of 0.03%, accounting for 7.3% of Germany's total imports, which was the same as the same period last year. As of April, China was Germany's fifth largest export destination and third largest source of imports.
Entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, I will continue to organize domestic enterprises to participate in the International Coil, Motor, Insulating Materials and Electrical Appliances Manufacturing Exhibition (CWIEME) held in Berlin, Germany, from May 21 to 23, 2020.
The Berlin Coil Exhibition was first held in Germany in 1996, once a year, and has a history of 23 years. At present, it has developed into the largest professional exhibition of electromagnetic coil, motor, transformer manufacturing, rewinding and electrical insulation in the world. In 2018, the total exhibition area is over 40,000 square meters. More than 700 companies from more than 40 countries participated in the exhibition. Germany, Italy, France, Britain, the United States and China are still large-scale exhibitions, which deserve to be a global gathering of the industry. Nearly 10,000 professional buyers visited, mainly from Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, North America, Central and South America, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and more than 100 countries and regions. The exhibition provides an excellent platform for Chinese enterprises to explore the European market and expand exports.
