How to power off oil-immersed transformer?

Time: 2020-07-30 11:28    Auther: Ztelec group

When the oil-immersed transformer has a problem, the power should be cut off. The following are the problems and operation steps that need to be paid attention to when the power is cut off.

The oil-immersed transformer is the same as other transformers. It is an important power equipment and electrical appliance. When the oil-immersed transformer has a problem, the power will be cut off, but there are many problems and operation steps that need to be paid attention to.

  Transformer manufacturer

  Oil variation outdoor installation and indoor installation, there is no high-voltage outlet cabinet for outdoor installation, only outdoor isolation switch, the inspection method and precautions and steps of oil variation on outdoor pole tower:

  1. Open the outlet circuits of the low-voltage cabinet;

  2. open the low-voltage capacitor cabinet;

  3. Open the low-voltage main cabinet;

  4. wear qualified insulated shoes, insulated gloves, safety caps, and separate the oil-to-disconnect switch with an operating rod;

  5. Wear qualified insulating shoes, insulating gloves, and safety gloves to conduct a high-voltage electrical test on the transformer after a power failure (pay attention to high altitude safety);

  6. Use a grounding resistance tester to measure the grounding resistance of the transformer (in principle, it cannot be greater than 4 ohms);

  7. Discharge the high-voltage end to the ground and the low-voltage end to the ground for 10 minutes of the oil transformer after the power failure;

  8. Check and repair the oil change after discharge; (pay attention to high altitude safety and 10KV voltage at the upper end of the isolation switch)

  9. Conduct preventive tests on oil changes after inspection and maintenance (insulation resistance, DC resistance, loop resistance, oil level, oil withstand voltage, transformation ratio, absorption ratio, etc.)

   10. After the experiment is qualified and the site is restored, power is transmitted;

  Indoor oil change:

  1. Open the outlet circuits of the low-voltage cabinet;

  2. open the low-voltage capacitor cabinet;

  3. Open the low-voltage main cabinet;

  4. Put on qualified insulating shoes, insulating gloves, safety caps, open the transformer outlet cabinet switch, make sure that the switch is in the open position, close the grounding switch and confirm the closing position of the grounding switch, hang it for safety inspection warning sign;

  5. Wear qualified insulating shoes, insulating gloves, and safety to conduct a high-voltage electrical test on the transformer after a power failure;

  6. Use a grounding resistance tester to measure the grounding resistance of the transformer (in principle, it cannot be greater than 4 ohms);

  7. Discharge the high-voltage end to the ground and the low-voltage end to the ground for 10 minutes of the oil transformer after the power failure;

  8. Check and repair the oil change after discharge;

  9. Conduct preventive tests on oil changes after inspection and maintenance (insulation resistance, DC resistance, loop resistance, oil level, oil withstand voltage, transformation ratio, absorption ratio, etc.)

   10. After the experiment is qualified and the site is restored, power is transmitted;

   11. Steps for power transmission: first put on qualified insulating shoes, insulating gloves, and safety helmets; secondly, remove the maintenance safety warning signs; finally disconnect the grounding switch and confirm the disconnection position, and close the high-voltage outlet cabinet switch;

  The above are the main steps and main methods of the common oil-immersed transformer power failure for your reference.
