DDP is an insulation material which use special modified epoxy resin in diamond shape in electrical insulation paper. The products were used widely in oil-immersed type transformer, layer insulation and turn insulation. The coating begin to melt at a certain temperature and create adhesive attraction. With the temperature raise, the DDP begin to solidify which make adjacent layer of windings into a fixed unit. The bonding strength of the epoxy resin is sufficient to prevent the displacement of the layers of the winding during the short circuit, thereby ensuring the electrical and mechanical properties of the insulating structure. Since the resin coating of the rhombic dispensing paper is spotted, the immersion of the oil and the discharge of gas in the insulating material are ensured and the corona and partial discharge are effectively avoided to ensure the safety and reliability of the insulating structure. It can also be used as a cable shielding isolation layer and an anti-corona material for high-voltage motors and electrical appliances.
