ABB launched the world's first digital power transformer

 At the Hanover Industrial Expo in Germany in 2018, ABB launched the first power transformer in the world, ABB Ability Which integrates digital solutions, to promote the transformation of the transformer industry. In the future, all ABB power transformers will be able to integrate digital functions, realize remote monitoring and real-time analysis of key parameters, and further improve the stability of the power grid and the utilization of assets.

The transformer has a digital center, which can be connected to different intelligent devices on the modular platform to achieve plug and play functions.
